In the past few months, we have been working hard in collaboration with PLUS and partners to create the new ‘oranje’ campaign for PLUS. We are proud to present the ‘Buurthempies’; unique shirts available in no less than 350 different versions, each with the name of a town. This way, almost everyone can wear a shirt representing their own neighborhood.
The production of the 350 shirts was just as challenging as creating 350 different types of in-store materials, advertisements, and outdoor billboards… all tailored to local neighborhoods. This ensures that each PLUS store can celebrate and support its own ‘neighborhood’ in a way that is personal, fun, and festive for customers.
To further strengthen the sense of ’togetherness,’ we collaborated on the creation of a song with Wesly & Wesley: ‘Ik ben net als jij’ (Ich bin wie du) was later adopted by PLUS as the anthem of the campaign. The song aims to bring the Netherlands closer together by emphasizing that despite our differences, we stand together as one team during the European Championship.
The message in the TV commercial is clear: “As a local PLUS store owner, you are naturally proud of Oranje, but even more proud of your own neighborhood.” Wes & Wes sing; “Together we are one, and with each other, we are never alone.”
We invite everyone to start collecting for a shirt with your own town name. Visit a PLUS store near you and show that your neighborhood supports Oranje! For more information, check out PLUS or contact eline@vijf890.nl
